Eibach Re-issue 'Retro Classic' Range
Suspension gurus Eibach took a welcome step backwards today with the unprecedented news that much of their previously deleted back catalogue will be re-tooled and re-released in response to overwhelming public demand.
The welcome announcement comes as Eibach's industry leading 'Pro-Kit' brand celebrates it's 20th Anniversary as a stand-alone product range. The uprated and lowered spring range has proved to be the industry benchmark since it's inception in 1987 . Being the first to offer an unlimited mileage warranty and OE build quality.
The re-released range covers over 50 iconic 80's and 90's cars including the Nissan 300ZX, Escort Cosworth, Honda NSX and Toyota Supra. Lowering the cars by 30-40mm, improving road holding and turn-in whilst maintaining a factory-quality ride.
Eibach UK MD Julian Gill picked up the tale. 'There's only so many times the phone can ring, asking you to re-introduce these well-loved lines before you have to stop and ask yourself 'What have we got to lose?' We pride ourselves on speed-to-market times and in this case it's simply a case of blowing a little dust from the CNC programming and firing up the line.' he explained.
With Eibach's Finnentrop HQ housing the latest production technology, Gill went on to explain how even low-volume production runs can justified. 'These days we can run off as few as 50 kits profitably. The whole production process is geared to be very responsive to niche markets and changing automotive fashions. With the current vogue in 'retro' cars very much back on the agenda we couldn't resist bringing these back.'
